FAF FAMILY DAY | #THROWBACK

Hi everyone.

I know I'm not active lately but happy new year!!! I hope everyone had an awesome new year. Anyway, last year on the 19th of December, there was a flood in Malaysia. Coincidentally, that day we were supposed to go on our annual FAF family trip for our family day. So, because of the flood, we decided to do our FAF family day at Mama's house in PJ.

The night before, Idzhar and I slept at Mama's house because our cousins were sleeping there too and Tia was coming back from Kuantan. It's been a while since we got to meet everyone. That night, we had a lot of fun. We played some card and board games, watch movies and talked to each other. It was just like old times. We also got our annual family day T-shirts.

our team colour for the year was pink!

The next day, we woke up early and get ready for the day. We ate breakfast and played our first game while waiting for our parents to arrive for the day. The first game was hosted by Mama herself. The game is, we had to line up and use rubber bands to make other rubber bands fall off a rope that has been tied to a chair. Even though it was just us kids with Tia and Mama, it was so chaotic. Everyone was cheering and laughing.

we get 5 rubber bands each.

Next, when the parents have arrived, we moved on to the second game which was hosted by Dadda and Mommy. For their game, Dadda will hit some shuttlecocks using a badminton racket and the others had to catch it using the shuttlecock tube. Each person had 6 tries. It was windy outside but we managed to play the game. Here's are some pictures of us.

After us kids, the adults played too. It was so funny to watch all the commotion. We laughed so hard and cheered loudly.

For our third game, we played Tia's game which we had to use toilet rolls to knock down plastic water bottles like bowling! It was really fun. The kids go first like always then the adults. We laughed SO HARD when the adults played. HAHAHA. It was really funny. Here are some videos.

After Tia's game, we took a quick break for Zohor prayers and ate lunch. We also took some family pictures.

Then, we moved on to Ayah De's game where the adults had to put a piece of Jacob's Cracker on their forehead and try to make the cracker fall to their mouth without using their hands. We kids, we had to time them and see which team wins. It was so messy and funny too HAHAHA.

Then, we played Aunty Alma's game. For this game, each team had 3 team members. We had 1 minute to "dress up" our model using a toilet roll. Each team can only use 3 rolls. Aunty Alma's game was a little challenging since we had to use our creativity but we had fun.

Lastly, we moved on to Ayahngah's game. We all had to create a dance to a song of our choice and it was HILARIOUS. We had so much fun. For this game, we kids had two teams, boys versus girls. Then the adults paired up. Here are some videos to enjoy!πŸ˜‰

we basically got "rickrolled" by them BAHAHAH

That night after we did our maghrib prayers together, we ate dinner and celebrate Faiez's birthday. Then Ayahngah and Aunty Inn gave us presents for the game like we did every family day before this. We had loads of fun that day.

So that's it for this post. Stay tuned for part 2.

Talk to you all later!πŸ˜‰

A Short Recap of End of 2014 Happenings.

So, as you all know, I've been slow at updating this blog so I'm gonna try my best in doing a recap of what's been happening...

I've graduated from pre-school last year and have just started my primary school in January. We had a graduation ceremony and another party in school on our last day before school holiday started.

Last day of school

Last school holiday was a holiday I looked forward to the most. I will tell you why...

First, I was excited since at the end of that holiday, I was going to start a new chapter - Primary One. I had ballet performances in the beginning of December in One Utama shopping mall for their Christmas events and on one of the days I had the performance, we bought my new school uniform right after I was done with the show.

On the 5th to 7th of December, we had our PJ Family Day in Ulu Rening. It was our family's turn to organise it. We really enjoyed our time there. We played games planned by each family and we also played with water at the nearby stream. The theme colour was Orange. It was an exciting short weekend getaway for all of us!

So that was our last holiday of 2014 before my most awaited and memorable trip after this holiday. I will tell you about that in my next post very soon. Watch this space! :)

PJ Family's 2009: 2nd Trip, Janda Baik

Yes, we just had our 2nd family trip with Dadda's family and this time we travelled to a place called Janda Baik (it means Good Divorcee).

This time around, it was only a day trip. We started early, around 7.30am and reached there at around 9am. As usual, I was a bit grumpy to wake up that early and I actually slept the whole trip. But once we arrived and I've warmed up, I was sooooo excited!

The place was so beautiful! It had a gazebo where we left our stuff and had our meals and there was a stream beside it. There were also animals like chickens, fish and even 2 lovely horses!

Auuummmcaakk! Having breakfast & goofing around!

We had breakfast once we arrived and after that, we started our games.

Let's start the 1st game already!!

The 1st game was Aunty Alma's guessing game which we won, the 2nd was Tia's blow and pop your balloon game which we also won! The 3rd game was a game by AyahDe called Zap, Zap Teng and Ayah Ngah won it while Mommy got 2nd place. After that it was our game. There were 2 teams and each teams had to divide themselves so that some had to guard their balloons while the others try to steal the opponents' balloons. It ended with a tie.

Counting the sweets for the 1st game!

Pouring the water in the bottle. Iky & Faiez..

After that, we played Ayah Ngah's game where Mommy had to carry a cup of water on her head and run across in flippers to give it to Dadda and he had to pour the water into a bottle. We didn't win that game. But we set the bar high where Auntie Alma & Uncle Farly could emulate & won the game!

Then Mama invented a game for all the kids, me included! Dadda had to fill up water in a cup and give it to me. I then will take the cup filled with water to Mommy and she will pour into a bottle. As usual, I was already tired by then and everybody knows that I don't quite like walking on grass and sand. So I did it reluctanly (crying all the way...) and protested by pouring the water on the ground in the middle of my run to Mommy! (hehe...)

Mommy's already wet.. I'm tired...

Everyone else still playing, while...

I'm having my early lunch... already exhausted! :)

The last game was Papa and Mama's. It was a traditional game called Stick Mata where one had to hit a stick so it goes up in the air and while it's up, hit it as far as they can. Dadda was on fire during this game and our team won again. Basically, we were the overall champion of the whole game! Hehe!

We are the CHAMPIONS!!

After all the games have been played, we stopped for lunch and Mommy, Dadda and the rest jumped into the stream. Dadda took me in at one point but I screamed because the water was SO cold and MOVING! (sooo unlike the swimming pool! sigh...)

With Papa at the really cold but nice river stream!

Dadda, I'm a CELEBRITY, GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!

After everyone had taken their shower and prayed, we took last snaps of photos and headed down back to each other's houses.

Are you talking to me?? (goofing around in the pick up truck!)

Look at the 2 lovely horsies!! Yup, I'm scared of them too!

Che Ah and Kak Miza came back with us so we stopped by at PJ to send them back. But Dadda was so tired and sleepy that he took a nap once we reached PJ. That night, we went out for dinner with the rest and finally went back to our place at around 10pm.

It was exhausting but truly a fun day for all of us!

What a day!! But it was AWESOME FUN!!

Check out all the pictures from Dadda's camera below;

Have a good Awal Muharram weekend everybody!
