PIRIE PARK PRIMARY'S CHRISTMAS FAYRE! #MYSCHOOL

Hi there!

As I said in my last post, my school was having a Christmas fair! The fair happened finally and it was so fun!

As a pupil in P7 (Primary 7), my friends and I had to help all the teachers in running the stalls. We worked so hard! I had to sell Christmas charms that we made ourselves while Idzhar and his friends in P4 sold hot chocolates. Their hot chocolates were such a hit that they were sold out within the first hour itself! Mommy Dadda and Aysha came a bit late so they did not get a chance to buy the hot chocolate drinks.

When Mommy and Dadda arrived, they gave me a bit of money so I could take a break from my duty and do a bit of shopping myself. I bought a pair of penguin earrings and box of slime. Idzhar got a Minecraft book and Aysha also got a couple of baby books for 20p each. Mommy also bought some toys for Aysha for 50p each.

After we're done at the fair, my friends and I went back to our classroom while the parents (including my mommy), gathered at the assembly hall to wait for their kids. While they waited, they got to enjoy coffee and tea with some pastries of their choice while the teachers pulled out the Raffles tickets. Unfortunately, we didn't win any prizes on that day. I guess we'll have to try again next time.😞

Anyway, while my friends and I waited for the bell, we danced and sang to Christmas songs. Idzhar said they got to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in their classroom after their job at the fair. Hehe...

We all had fun that day! Here are some pictures (except for the dancing-in-the-classroom because I had no camera) from that day.

Mommy, Dadda and Aysha came while I was busy selling our Christmas charms.

Mommy treated us to hot chocolate and cakes after school.

That's all for now. Till my next post!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everybody!

Bye!😉

FAIR AND FROZEN

Hi there.

So, like I said in the previous post, there are christmas decorations, markets and fairs everywhere right now and I already told you about the fair in Edinburgh in my last post.

Last Saturday,  the day before we went to Edinburgh, my family and I went to Intu Braehead to watch Frozen 2. I was so excited! The movie was awesome! After the movie, we went to Pizza Express for dinner. It was a  really nice family outing.

Kids' movie snack at Odeon.

Got our snacks and ready to go in.

Pizza Express dinner after movie.

Ready to go home, sleep early to go to Edinburgh early next morning.

The day before that, we went to George Square at the city centre to go to the Christmas fair. It was so pretty with all the christmas lights, the rides and the decorations! Idzhar and I were so excited! We begged Mommy and Dadda to let us go on one of the rides. Hehe... They said that we could go on the merry-go round or the carousel because the queue for the ferris wheel was too long. Mommy took Aysha on the ride with us while Dadda stayed to take pictures and videos of us and looked after Aysha's stroller.

After the ride, we went to get S'mores! Before they made our S'mores, we got to toast our own marshmallows too. I chose a chocolate Oreo S'mores while Idzhar had the chocolate orange S'mores. Needless to say it was so yummy, even Dadda, Mommy and Aysha couldn't resist picking on our S'mores! At the fair, we bumped into a few of Dadda's friends. We talked and took pictures with them. Finally, we went to have dinner at Las Iguanas before heading home.

 Some Malaysian friends in Glasgow.

Aunty Natasha was also there. She is also one of Chevening Scholars in Glasgow, like Dadda.

Dadda's classmate, uncle Enad Talal from Saudi with his wife were also there.

We missed the Govan Christmas fair a few days ago (because we were planning to go the day after but it turns out that the fair was only for a day) but Pirie Park Primary's Chrismas Fayre is coming soon! Will tell you all about that after the fair on Friday.

Bye. ⛄

DALGETY BAY AND THE EDINBURGH CHRISTMAS FAIR || 1ST DECEMBER

Hi there!

It's finally December, time flies when you're having fun and I have more things to share with you. The first story I am going to tell you this month is my road trip to Edinburgh... again! (or as Mommy would say, balik kampung. Hahaha!!!)

We went to Edinburgh because Uncle Keith came back from Japan but unfortunately, he was only back for a week. We left our house early on Sunday morning and went to Edinburgh by a car rented by Dadda.

It was a very cold and misty morning. The ground was covered in frosts and the temperature was below 0°C.

Off to Edinburgh!

We arrived in Dunfermline at about 12:00p.m. When we reached Pops' (Uncle Keith's father) house, they were out at the grocery store nearby so we had to wait a wee while for them. While we waited, we played with the frosts at in the backyard. Hehe...

Idzhar trying to make a snow angel.

When Uncle Keith and Pops arrived, we went straight inside the house because is was freezing outside. We had a delicious lunch, homemade vege soup by Pops (all veges fresh from his garden) and margherita pizzas made by Aunty Jill. We also had some bread with cheese slices. Pops' house faces the sea so after lunch, we went to have a walk by the beach up to the old church.

Aysha found something she liked as soon as we went in.

Lunch with the Franklins. Aunty Jill and her sons, Torin & Arlo came to join us.

Walking back before it got too dark.

When we came back to the house, it was already dark so we decided to make a move. Before we went back, we drove to the Edinburgh Christmas Fair. The fair was on Princes Street, near the Waverly Station mall so we went to Chopstix for dinner. After that, we went back to the fair because Mommy wanted coffee and I bought hot chocolate with marshmallow and cream. Hahaha!!! We walked around the market for a wee bit more before it was time to go home.

who came back from Tokyo for a week, for work.

Pops gave Mommy his homemade Raspberry jam made from Raspberries n his garden
and a pot of plant for our house to bring back home.

Stopped by Glenda's (Uncle Keith's mom) grave before we left.
She passed away just about 2 years after Tok Babah.
The last time we were all together (Tok Babah, Glenda & all our families) was in Japan, at Uncle Keith's wedding.

Unfortunately, this was on a Sunday so we had to home early as it was a school night. A lot of interesting events happening in the month of December so watch this space!
Be back soon! 😉
