February 2010 happenings...

Wow! A lot of things happened this month indeed, and it's only just the first half!
I don't even know where to start...

Hmm... let me see, first there was the premiere of our Garage Sale held at Kg Tunku, PJ house on the 6th and 7th. Everybody took part and sold old and new stuff. Mommy even managed to sell off some of my old clothes and a few of her old kebayas. Dadda managed to sell some of his stuff too.

I'm in charge of sorting the VCDs, just can't seem to get enuff of it!

Playing with the toys inside the box!

In fact, everybody else like Tia, Che Ah, Cu Na, Aunty Alma and even Ayah Ngah managed to sell something. All in all, we got quite a good response. From what I've heard, we're planning for another one in June.

Next there was Papa's birthday on the 6th which we celebrated the night after due to the Garage Sale. We had dinner at a restaurant called Pizza vs Satay. Of course, they don't just sell Pizza and Satay but other good fusion food as well...

Mammam time again!

On Tuesday, the 9th, we celebrated Mak Lel's birthday at Windmill restaurant in Subang Jaya. Her birthday was actually the day before but because of some 'Japanese strangers', we couldn't celebrate on that day itself! Anyway, we 'pulled' (pooled) money (well, at least Mommy, Aunty Huda, Aunty Ina and Pak Su did..) and bought Mak Lel a pair of white gold ear rings.

Happy Birthday Mak Lel...!

In front of WindMill..

On that night too, at around 9.40pm, Aunty Alma gave birth to an adorable baby girl.
Yes, I've got a new cousin now and her name is Adeena Zariya. She looks exactly like her elder brother, Abang Aimar. We went to visit them at the hospital on Wednesday after fetching Mommy for her office. Needless to say, I no longer am the 'baby' in the family....

Don't they look alike? :)

After visiting Aunty Alma and her new baby at the hospital
we went straight to see Che Ah at Cineleisure. She had a bowling tournament that night and we were there to support her. Aunty Huda came and joined us there too and we had dinner together. Che Ah got 3rd place in the tournament. Congrats Che Ah!

This weekend, Mommy, Dadda and everyone else will be on a long leave because of Chinese New Year. I don't know what their plans are but I'm really hoping that Mommy and Dadda will take me someplace where we can watch the Lion Dance! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Will keep you updated.
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Smile...

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking

When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow

You'll see the sun come shining through you

Light up your face with gladness

Hide every trace of sadness

Although a tear may be ever so near

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile

If you just smile...

-Charlie Chaplin

'Today, give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day.' ~ P.S. I Love You

'A smile is a curve that sets everything straight'. ~ Phyllis Diller

'Even a smile is charity' ~ Prophet Muhammad S.A.W

Mommy says that you feel better just by smiling and you'll make other people feel better just by smiling at them too.

It's true! I've tried it. Have you tried it?
'If you don't have a smile, I'll give you one of mine'

I hope you're smiling when you're reading this post! :)

Who Says You Can't Look Cool In A Car Seat?

Who ever said that car seats aren't cool? The car seat ain't the problem, people. It all depends on who's in it.

If your parents love you enough to get you a car seat specially for you, it doesn't mean that they're restricting your movements in the car. It just means that they're protecting you from getting hurt in case anything bad should happen. As for me, I was lucky enough to have mine sponsored... by Uncle Nuar, hehe...

Whether you look good or not when you're in it depends entirely on you. When you sit in the car seat, you gotta sit in it with ATTITUDE. Period.

Besides, there are a lot of things you can do in the car seat while your parents drive you around.
At least you're not stuck behind the wheels and not being able to do anything in the jam, right?

You can read...

You can watch DVDs (and try to seek attention at the same time)...

You can even chill...

And don't forget to do all that... with STYLE! That's most important...

For all my car seat antics, check out the album below baby! Peace out.. :)

New Year, New School Uniform...

Happy 2010 everyone!!! My resolution for this year is try to sneak into my parents' room at night to sleep with them as often as I can! Yeay! Wish me luck...

Anyway, starting this year, I will be attending REAL classes in school (as in going into the classroom and seat and actually learn something...).
There will be a few subjects including religious and prayers too. Therefore, I need to be wearing proper uniforms when attending these classes. Check it out...

My new uniform -- too big for me?

Knowledge Enlivens The Soul, Milk Enlivens My Tummy!

My pants are green in colour and my top is in yellow! Yes, you definitely can spot us from far! At the back of my shirt is our school motto :
Knowledge Enlivens The Soul, which is really true, you know. That's why I'm being sent to school at such a very young age, apart from the fact that both Mommy and Dadda have to work and they actually feel more confident in sending me to school rather than hire a maid to take care of me at home. Besides, they said at least I get to learn something in school as opposed to just stay home and do nothing but eat and play.

LinkedTube
I learn to count at school too, but sometimes I'll be a bit cheeky and
leave out some of the numbers on purpose..

Personally, I think they just feel really insecure in leaving me alone at home with a stranger! They probably have this 'trust' issue with someone new to the family, hehe... hence, the excuses and so-called good reasons of theirs for sending me off to school!

I mean, I'm not complaining or anything like that. It's not like they're sending me off to a boarding school where they serve really bad food and I don't get to come back at the end of each day, right? But it's just so depressing having to wake up early in the morning, bathe and put on my uniform just to spend a day of learning, playing and eating with the rest of my friends... do you understand what I'm trying to say here?

But anyway, it's not really a big problem for me, though. Usually, I'll just put on a bit of a tantrum in the mornings and pretend to cry everytime one of my teachers come to fetch me from the car until they hand me a piece of biscuit or bread for breakfast.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, I also have a head cover or hijab to be put on during my religious and prayer classes. Don't I look adorable in it?

No 1! School is good for me!

Too cute not to HUG!

Make sure you read this too!
