CovEid Mubarak!

Hi there.

In this post, I want to tell you about my Eid this year. So, as you all know, during the lockdown, we couldn't go out because of the virus so we celebrated Eid differently. I'm sure all of you did the same. Anyway, we were so excited the night before. That Friday, we did some spring cleaning to get ready for Eid on Sunday. We actually planned to do the spring cleaning on Thursday but a package from Malaysia did not arrived that day or the day before. Oh, you guys must be wondering why do we need to wait for that package. Well, it was because the package had our Raya groceries and decorations so we had to wait for the package to arrive first so that we can get ready. Anyway, that night we had everything ready. Just after Isya' prayers, we did a Zoom call with the KMG (Komuniti Malysia Glasgow) to perform our Takbir together. It was so fun. After that, we drifted off to bed so we can get up early for the first day of Raya!!!

The next morning, after our Eid prayers, we had some breakfast before we took some pictures. Our theme colour for this year is black and grey. After we had taken pictures, we did a Zoom call with the #bibanicrew and also the FAFamily. Here are some pictures for day 1.

Day 2.

For day 2, we had a picnic in our backyard since it was so sunny on the 2nd day of Eid. We also had more Satay! Even though we didn't get to go out for our Raya visits, it was still a fun experience. Here are some pictures to end the blog.

We had more Raya food!

We also had time to fool around a bit.

That is all for now folks! Before I go, let me wish Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin and Happy Eid Mubarak to all of my family, friends and loved ones! Hope you had a good one! Until then, stay tuned for more stories.🎉😉

MY LOCKDOWN BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

Hi there.

Since the lockdown started from end of March and my birthday was on the 10th of April, we decided to video call everyone in Malaysia and have a little celebration from home. We called Tok mama, PJ family, Nadhrah, Adida and Aunty Ayu. Dadda got some food delivered including some cakes and candies. I got a game called Articulate for my birthday present and Mommy and Dadda decided to lend me Mommy's old phone since I need to use Twitter for my schoolwork from Pirie Park. Here are some pictures from that day.

We were so happy and excited that none of us took photos of the food! Hahaha! Oh well, stay tuned for more stories soon!

Bye!😉

A 2-DAYS-1-NIGHT TRIP TO LOCHNESS

Hi there.

In this post, you will go through an adventure with my family and I to find the Loch Ness Monster, Nessie, also known as Crusoe in the movie, The Water Horse!🐲

A few weeks ago, before the government started the movement control order, my family and I went to Loch Ness. Loch Ness is in Inverness and Inverness is in the Scottish Highlands. Although all the places of interest were closed because of social distancing, the trip was fun! We went there by car and it was a three hours' drive. The day we went to Loch Ness was the day before Tok Mama's birthday so we made a surprise call for Tok Mama once we reached Loch Ness.

Beatrix Potter Garden we stopped by on the way to Loch Ness.
We found this by chance because Dadda was looking for the RnR for a toilet break.

We could still see snow up on the highlands.

Saw this beauty when we stopped by at a gas station.

After hours on the road, we finally saw Loch Ness!

The centre was closed but we stopped to take pictures anyway

The BnB Dadda booked was the best place ever! It was also a baby-friendly place so it was good for Aysha. The place was cosy and it was in front of a river and made the place beautiful. After we've settled everything in the house, we went for a drive around Loch Ness. We went to buy some groceries at a nearby Tesco, we went to see Urquhart Castle but it was closed, of course, but we got to see the castle from above. After that, we went to take a picture with Nessie's statue at a place called Nessie Land. Here are some photos of us exploring Loch Ness.

That night, we ate some dinner that Mommy cooked with some ingredients that we brought from home plus some that we bought at Tesco. After dinner, we played Uno for family night and then off to bed for a good night's sleep.

On our way back to Glasgow, we stopped by at McDonalds for lunch and Asda to buy some groceries to bring back home.

So that was our trip to Loch Ness. Hope you guys enjoyed reading. Stay tuned for more posts.

Bye!😉
