My 4th Birthday Bash!

This year, my birthday celebration was different. Instead of having a party at home or Tok Abah's house, I had my 4th birthday party at a kids play area called Yukids Island.

Mommy decided after seeing the place a few months back to have my party there so after discussing it with Dadda, they agreed. About a month prior to my party, Mommy started planning our guests, food, party packs and all the other details. Although we decided to make it a small event with only family members, I was so excited. I was counting days to my birthday and couldn't wait for the day to arrive.

Finally, 10th April came. It was a Tuesday so it was a school day but the next day, Wednesday was a public holiday. So, instead of having the party on my actual birth day, we had it a day after, on the 11th. I woke up excited that morning as everyone was busy getting ready to go to the venue.

When we arrived, Mommy went straight to the cake shop to get my birthday cake. This year I had chosen the theme 'Barbie'. All my guests had to turn up in pink and/or white. As I am now a ballerina, I chose a ballerina Barbie for my cake.

My cousin, Alyssa came in a complete 'princess' costume but seeing that it was my birthday, she was kind enough to let me wear her tiara all day! How sweet of her.

The place provided us with food from McDonald's and we also brought more food from home for our guests.

So, although most of our guests were late, eventually all turned up and we started off with the cake cutting (Mommy decided to get that out of the way so all the kids can play). Cousin Nadhrah helped me with the cake cutting.

After that, everyone else started eating while some kids were too excited to eat and proceeded to the play area to play. I ate a little and joined my friends.

After playing for a while, Mommy called everyone back to the party room to take photos.

We also gave Mama her birthday present from the rest of the PJ family.

And now, both Papa and Mama have the same handphone.

Although some of my cousins couldn't make it because some were ill and some were stuck somewhere or parents had to work and stuff like that, quite a number of relatives turned up to celebrate my birthday.

There were, of course, Nek Wan,

my lovely aunties/godmoms/hang-out buddies,

Aunty Shaly and Natasha, all the way from Somerset...

Ayah Ngah, Aunty Inn, Che Ah (not seen in the photo), Kolah and her daughters..

Wan Dak and Wan Kie...

Tok Uda, Wan Uda, Mak Long Syafa and Mama Rina..

Alyssa, Ryan and their parents...

Tok Cu, Wan Cu, Mama Lyana and Papa Dam..

AyahDe, Cik De and Nadhrah, of course...

Umi Intan, Uncle Yus, Ami Ndar, Aunty Ina and their kids...

Uncle Azrul, Aunty Illy and Aunty Kynaz...

and the others...

And when they went home, they all got to bring back some souvenirs/party packs.
So, after all the guests have left, we took our own little family fun photo...

I had an AWESOME time! Thank you Mommy, Dadda and everyone else for a lovely party!

Hope to see you again next year!

My 1st Sports Day!

On March 31st this year, I experienced my 1st sports day.
Mommy woke me up early for ballet class that day and she started packing a whole lot of other stuff along. I was just too excited to go to ballet class that day because right after that Mommy's going to make me change into a yellow t-shirt and a track bottom.

Yes, a yellow t-shirt. I was in the Yellow team or better known as the Yellow Tiger team.
We were among the early ones to arrive at the stadium. My school, Children Islamic Center, has quite a number of branches all over Malaysia. So, our sports day is divided in 2 sessions. Morning and afternoon. I was lucky that my branch got the afternoon session so I don't have to miss my ballet class in the morning.

The afternoon session was supposed to have started at 2pm but it got a little bit delayed. It was just as well because although Mommy, Adida and I arrived around 1.15pm, Dadda, Tok Abah, Tok Mama and Pak Su were really late and only arrived at around 3pm as they all had work and got stuck in the traffic jam coming to the stadium right in the middle of KL.

My support team all in yellow :)
We started off with a march around the stadium, showing off our team and mascots.
Immediately after the march, I got ready for my first match. I was in 2 different matches. The first was the Kangaroo jump where I had to carry a bag in front of me and hop like a kangaroo as fast as I can. I then had to choose an animal picture and hop off to the other end and put the picture in a basket. My team won the 1st place for that.
I was the 1st to start

Here I go!

After all the games were over, it was time for the parents to play some games. Dadda was tired so Pak Su played in the games for dads and Mommy took part in the games for Mommies while Dadda and Adida took photos. Both of their teams won 1st place so Mommy and Pak Su also came back with some prizes.

Tok Abah and Tok Mama also came to support me :)

 With Dadda and Mommy

 Adida was there too :)

 My principal, Teacher Zana :)

 Teacher Aishah

Met Alisha and her parents too! She's in CIC The Strand.

So, that was my first sports day and I had fun! Can't wait for my next one.
Look out for my birthday post soon :)

Aryanna Ballerina' and Idzhar's latest venture

Since the beginning of February Mommy had enrolled myself in a ballet class. I've been asking Mommy for a chance to go for dance classes for the past one year and Mommy kept asking me to wait.

The day came when she finally decided to take me for a trial class in January. She wanted me to try before making up my mind. Turned out that I really enjoyed it so, in February, I began my training to become a ballerina.

It's now been a month since I attend classes and I'll be performing in a concert at the end of April.

Will let you know how the concert goes. Hopefully with some photos or videos too.

Now, I wasn't the only one who had tried something new. Adik did too.

We took him swimming for the first time sometime end of February and since then, it's been a weekly activity for us and Idzhar. Well, Mondays have always been our swimming day all the while but Idzhar has just started joining us and he absolutely loves it!

Let's see if he picks up swimming as quickly as I did.

February birthdays!

February is a month full of birthdays of the people close and dear to me. Let's see, there's Papa's, Mak Lel's, Aunty Alma's, Zariya's and Uncle Nuar's. As usual, we celebrate them all together with everyone.

For Papa's, Aunty Alma's and Zariya's birthdays, we went bowling with the other uncles, aunts, grand uncles, grand aunts and cousins. Mommy bought birthday cupcakes for the February babies and after bowling, we went and have lunch at a restaurant of Papa's choice.

Later that week, we celebrated Mak Lel's and Uncle Nuar's birthday at a restaurant called Bonjour Garden in Kota Damansara. It serves western food plus a bakery in a very nice 'European-like'setting. There's a picture of an apparently very famous tall building called the Eiffel Tower.

Mommy said that the tower is in Paris, France. I have no clue on where that is but Mommy, Dadda, Tok Mama, Tok Abah, Pak Su and Uncle Nuar all have been there before. Perhaps someday I'll get to go there too!

While waiting for everyone to arrive.

There's a nice fountain in the middle of the restaurant.
