The Great Escapade: Fly ME For FREE please!

You're probably wondering what on earth is the title all about! Well, let me enlighten you...

Our beloved Malaysian Airlines has 9 packages for us to choose when booking for flights. My favourite of all is obviously the 'Kids Fly Free' package. The ultimate reason? So I don't get left behind everytime Mommy and Dadda go for a trip or holiday! Duh!

Mommy and Dadda have this serious need to travel or go for a holiday at least twice a year and every single time I was left behind with Tok Mama and Tok Abah.

Thanks Tok Abah, but I wanna go on a real flight!!

I mean, when is this going to end? It's about time they take me along! The reason given was, as always, I was too little and a waste of money to pay for flight tickets.

Dear MAS, please pick me to go on a FREE FLIGHT!!

Well, I've got news for you, Mommy and Dadda, I'm no longer the little baby I once was and now, tadda... MAS has these lovely, awesome packages for you to choose from and one of it is, guess what? Yes, free tickets for kids! Isn't that just perfect for my first flight ever?

So, now, can I tag along? Please... pretty please..?

Leaving on a MAS Jet Plane.. Hopefully soon...

My 1st Birthday BASH!

I remember waking up that morning quite late, around 10ish. I heard water running in the bathroom, it must be Dadda having a shower. Mommy carried me out of the room to feed me breakfast and outside, watching TV, were Aunty Huda and Mak Lel. They stayed over the night before to help Mommy with the preparations for that day, my BIG day...

Yes, that was the day of my birthday party! Mommy, Mak Lel and Pak Su prepared the party packs the night before and I was thrilled. After breakfast Mommy showered me and after that I sat and watch TV while everyone was busy getting ready to prepare for the party. Mommy and Mak Lel went out to get my cake while I stayed home with Dadda and Aunty Huda to decorate the room where the party was to be held.

Mommy had tried to make me sleep for a while around 2pm, before the party started but I was excited and didn't want to. I was so adamant that Mommy finally gave up and wore me my new dress and got ready herself before taking me to the clubhouse. At the clubhouse, people were starting to arrive. Around 4pm, almost everyone had arrived and were eating and chatting away. Everybody I know was there. There were balloons and presents and a big banner that said 'Happy Birthday Nadyne'.

Dadda holding me infront of my big banner!

Look at all the yummy food. Catering contacts thanks to Auntie Alma!

My Little Einsteins Special Birthday cake. Thank you Mommy!

Unfortunately, by the time everyone had arrived and it was time to cut cake, I was already feeling tired and really, really sleepy. Now I know why Mommy had desperately wanted me to sleep before the party. If only I listened to Mommy, I probably wouldn't be as tired! As a result, all photos taken on that day were with my gloomy face on.

Yes, I'm excited inside, but sleepy on the outside..

Anyway, we did blow the candle and cut the special cake Mommy bought for me. It was in the shape of my favourite cartoon, 'Little Einsteins'. The cake tasted nice too! All the kids who came to my party received a party pack each. Cousin Nadhrah was not there, though, because she was in Sabah with Ayah De and Che De. So, we kept a couple of party packs to give it to her when we see her the week after.

Happy birthday to ME!

Time to blow the No 1 candle!

With my beloved Mommy & Dadda + the Cake..

After eating my birthday cake, everyone got ready to go down to the pool to have a swim. Mommy, Mak Lel, Aunty Huda and Pak Su stayed back to help pack the food and things to be brought back to our house. Dadda took me back first to get myself ready for the swim. Everyone enjoyed themselves at the pool. Some didn't even want to come out, including me!

My guests enjoying a dip in the swimming pool!

Finally, around 7pm I had to come out of the pool because it was getting dark and some guests are still at our house. At home, Mommy showered me and fed me with some milk afterwhich I slept like a log! Imagine how tired I was! Mommy woke me up around 9pm to open up presents. Tok Mama had finally arrived from London and Aunty Min had picked her up from the airport and came straight to our house. Uncle Nuar had also finally arrived.

With Uncle Nuar and our front neighbours...

Mommy put me on her lap and started opening the presents, one by one, telling others who each presents were from. There were quite a number of them and I thank everyone who gave me those nice things.

Gifts opening session. Thank you alll!!!

Another mobile phone, this time it's Elmo!!

We took some photos of me with my presents and after that, said goodbye to everyone. Later that night, after everyone had left, we went out with Pak Su, Aunty Huda, Mak Lel, Pak Long Imal and Aunty Ina. After a long day, we ended it with a nice cup of coffee before retiring to bed.

Me, presents and with my dynamic duo 'Godmothers': Auntie Huda & Mak Lel!

The celebration wasn't over though, we were going bowling the next day and I had fun during bowling too!

So, now you know that I really had a blast and my 1st birthday celebration was unforgettable!

My New Shoes

Before going to bed around midnight last night, Mommy and Dadda came smiling and hugged and kissed me a few times and said, "Happy Birthday Darling! Mommy and Dadda's little angel has turned 1!" I didn't quite understand what they were saying and why they were suddenly happy in the middle of the night or maybe I was too sleepy to even think of it, I just went straight to bed.

I'm ONE already, Mommy?

What's this with all the No 1 finger, Dadda?

This morning, Mommy woke me up earlier than usual. Dadda has already showered and while I was still yawning and my eyes were still half closed, he carried me downstairs. Oh yes, we slept over at Tok Abah's because I heard that Dadda had wanted to send his car for service. Anyway, Tok Abah was already downstairs, getting ready to go to work. Tok Mama is still in London. Tok Abah took me in his arms and kissed my forehead and also muttered the words, 'Happy Birthday'. By then, I was fully awake but had no mood to do anything at all. I just wanted to go back to sleep!

A while later, Mommy came down to bathe me and when I was ready, I waved goodbye to Tok Abah when he left to work. Dadda took me to the computer and there I saw Tok Mama's face on the screen! I thought it was only a photo but somehow the photo talked to me! I didn't know what to think so I just stared at the screen without muttering a single word!

It's still too early.. I miss my sleep..

So anyway, we eventually went out when everyone was ready. We had breakfast at McDonald's after we sent Dadda's car for service after which we headed to Pantai Medical Centre to see my doctor, Dr. Azam for my 1 year jab.

Breakfast @ McD... I can do the No 1 with my finger now..

Reading in the car on the way to Pantai Medical Centre, where I was born!

I met a few friends there. Dr. Azam seemed like a nice guy but he poked my thigh with a tiny sharp little thingy and I got angry! Well, it didn't really hurt me and I didn't cry but I was quite annoyed that I had to be forced to lie down while listening to this stranger talk about me!

How much do I weigh now? 9 kg!

Is this my 1 year birthday gift Mommy, a JAB??!!

After my visit to Dr. Azam's, we went to Papa's house in PJ because Dadda had to attend the Friday prayers. I rested for a while and played with Abang Aimar while waiting for Dadda and Papa to come back. After we all had our lunch together, I went out again with Mommy and Dadda. This time we went to a shopping mall to buy me a new pair of shoes! Woohoo!

That's my Dr Azam in the background. He's quite the joker!

This is what I've been telling you guys about in my previous post, remember? Anyway, I fell asleep when we reached the shoe shop so Mommy and Dadda chose the shoes for me. It's almost like Cinderella's glass slippers (except that it's not made of glass but clear rubber..) and the best part is... there are lights when I walk! This way I won't be lost in a crowd and Mommy and Dadda could always find me. Anyway, we continued shopping a wee bit longer and then headed straight back to Subang.

That night, we had a small celebration at Tok Abah's with Mak Lel (she joined us during our shopping spree..), Wandak, Wan Kie, Mama Lyana, Papa Adam, Tok Mama (with Aunty Alia, Uncle Ashraf, Aunty Intan and Kak Aqilah through the computer, again..). I opened up a few presents from them, hehe...

My 1st birthday cake in Subang!

Opening some gifts from Tok Abah, Tok Mama, Wan Kie, Wan Ndak.
I'm wearing Mommy's old dress sewn by Wan Ndak!

Apparently, there'll be another wee celebration with the PJ family, again, tomorrow.
Can't wait... will update on that, soon...

Finally... I can walk...

Finally, I've started walking around 2 weeks ago at 11 months! I did it bit by bit at the beginning , from 5 steps to 10 and eventually walked everywhere around the house. Now, I even walk around Tok Abah's house in Subang and around Papa's house in PJ.

Walking around our new home. Look at the shiny wood flooring! :)

I'll be celebrating my birthday soon on the 10th of April. On my birthday, Mommy is planning to take me out to buy me a new pair of shoes because the old ones can't fit my growing feet any longer. I haven't been wearing shoes when we go out and only wear my socks for quite sometime now but since I've started walking Mommy decided that it's time for a new and comfy pair of shoes so I can walk more outdoors from now on. Aunty Huda has agreed to apply for leave on the 10th to go shopping with us.

On the 18th of April, we're going to have a party to celebrate my birthday. So, it's only natural that Mommy buys me a new pair of shoes so I can walk around and entertain my guests during my birthday party. It'll be held a week after my birthday because Tok Mama will not be around on my birthday. She'll be in London and will only come back on the 17th. I don't know where London is but apparently, Dadda and Mommy have been there. I hope they will take me there someday.

I'll update you on my new shoes soon!

Home Sweet Home

We've finally moved to our new house in D'Rimba, Kota Damansara last week. I have my own room there with my own bed and wardrobe Tok Abah and Tok Mama bought for me. My room has an awesome view of the swimming pool.

The cake Mak Lel bought for us. Thank You Mak Lel!

On Sunday, March 15th, we had a family gathering for hi-tea to celebrate our moving-in. Grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins came and we had quite a meal. It's also the start of the school holidays in March, so we had a full house!!

&amp;lt;a href="http://www.linkedtube.com/haMfPm4RuhU4e8679a4e199e9dc9f6723980ae3c750.htm"&amp;gt;LinkedTube&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;

Dadda was busy entertaining our guests and Mommy was busy at the kitchen. So, I spent time playing with all my cousins. Some of them came all the way from Kuantan and they even brought along their swim suits but didn't get to swim because it rained that afternoon. So, we just played indoors. Nevertheless, I had lots of fun that day!

All my cousins from PJ side were there, include Kak Nadhrah & Kak Miza.

Makan time! Look at all the food. It's pot-luck style. Thanks everyone!!

My cousins playing and messing my new room!

Mommy was on leave the next day. Originally, she wanted to take me out, just spend time together. Unfortunately, I caught the flu and was not feeling very well on Monday so we ended up staying home. My cousins came back on Monday morning to go for a swim but I didn't get to join them because I was sick. In the evening, Mommy and Dadda took me to the clinic.

That night, I was quite weak and didn't get to sleep much. Mommy didn't get much sleep either. So, she had to take an Emergency Leave on Tuesday to take care of me. By Tuesday night, I was feeling better already but unfortunately Mommy started having sore-throat. On Wednesday, Mommy had to apply for Medical Leave and again, stay home with me.

On Thursday, Mommy went back to work and I had to be sent to Putra Heights. I was very happy to have spent the 3 extra days with Mommy but on the other hand, I'm also happy to spend time with Mama Lyana and Papa Adam in Putra Heights. It was the school holidays so, at least I've got company!

We're having another party at our house soon! We're celebrating my 1st birthday! I just can't wait...

One month to go...

I turned 11 months recently. Just one more month before I turn 1! Oh my, how fast the time flies! Mommy and Dadda couldn't believe that I'm turning into a young baby lady soon.

I know I'm turning 1 and my 2 teeth are showing more and more each day but I'm just too lazy to start walking! I mean, what's the rush?! I did give Mommy and Dadda a 'sneak-peak' of my ability to walk about 5 steps a couple of weeks ago but that's about it. I decided that I'm just going to take my time. I guess now everybody has accepted the fact that I'm not going to start walking anytime soon.

So far, I've tried my hands at playing the piano with Mommy and driving my own car. I must say I was quite nervous playing the piano at first. This huge thing producing sounds I've never heard before whenever I touched the white or black keys, I was shocked! But after a while, I could play 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' with my tiny fingers.

Twinkle, twinkle little star!

Mommy bought me my first car a few months ago and I must tell you that driving came naturally to me. I'm also an expert climber now. I can climb up the slide while everyone uses the steps. Perhaps I should try wall climbing now...

Allrite, my first car!!

Anyway, as some of you might have already known, I'm now being sent to Mommy's aunt's house when Mommy and Dadda are at work. Yes, they were thinking of sending me to a daycare centre but they couldn't find one which accepts babies under the age of 1, like me! They did find 1 which will accept below the age of 1 provided that the baby has started walking. I still don't see that as a reason for me to pressure myself to start walking. So, I'm happy being sent to Putra Heights every morning until Mommy comes back for me in the evening. Besides, I get to play with Papa Adam and Mama Lyana when they come back from school.

Mama Lyana always accompanying me now!

We will be moving to our new place soon and we will be travelling further each day from home to Putra Heights. Maybe I do have to start walking soon enough so Mommy can send me to a daycare centre near home instead of her and Dadda travelling such a distance to send me before going to work.

Perhaps I will think about it... Will let you know soon!

Mak Lel's Dinner Treat

On Wednesday, 25th of February, Mak Lel treated us to a dinner at Tony Roma's, Sunway Pyramid. The people who attended it were myself, Mommy, Dadda, Tok Abah, Tok Mama, PakSu, Aunty Huda, Ayah Ngah Acat and of course, Mak Lel.

Congrats Mak Lel on the BIG BONUS! :)

Mak Lel was the 1st to arrive followed by Tok Abah, Tok Mama and PakSu, and then us, followed by Ayah Ngah and finally, the latest as usual, Aunty Huda. We ordered starters, fried mushrooms and onion loaf. They were so huge that all of us thought we would be full by the time our main dish arrives.

Eagerly waiting for the food to arrive!

After waiting for a while, our main course arrived. Mine came first. Mommy had ordered fish and chips plus mashed potato for me. They all laughed seeing how huge the plate was! I mean, how was I to finish it? I'm a baby!

OMG, is this supposed to be my kiddies meal? Soo happy!

Anyway, after that, one by one, everyone's food came. Mommy, as always, as well as Aunty Huda had grilled lamb chops and Dadda had pasta. Ayah Ngah had burger (what?!) while Mak Lel and Tok Mama had steak ribs and salmon respectively. The most amazing ones were Tok Abah and PakSu who had combo steak each! It was amazing how they can eat that much! Mommy and Mak Lel also ordered Pina Colada apart from their lattes (talk about greedy!)

Mommy's meal.. (only half of it here...)

After that much food, there were still room for desert. We ordered something that had a big cookie at the bottom, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel. At the end of the dinner we were all amazed at ourselves for being able to eat that much!

One for the album - a group photo of us @ Tony Romas

All the while through dinner we talked and laughed and had a great time! I can't wait to start talking and grow some teeth so I can join the fun of eating and talking.

Enjoy the album slideshow: (me too full & slept after dinner!)
